The NuWave Community Media Student Program seeks to advance students in a rapidly growing field. This unique program incorporates coursework to educate students in:

In our program, students learn about the logistics of today’s media and the best practices. Students develop media production expertise, aesthetic sensitivity, and the ability to construct a project from beginning to end.

NuWave Media educates in reporting information ethically, thinking critically about the messages we read, see, and hear, and giving us the chance to make informed decisions on choosing information valuable to us. ​ An understanding of new media and how it influences us promotes informed behavior and combats the spread of misinformation and disinformation.
