Who is NuWave Community Media?Your Trusted Media and Marketing source for a fast-changing digital world. Media, Technology, and Marketing messages are at the center of our lives every day. New generations from a young age are using technology at home and at school to connect with friends and family, document their lives by creating digital content of their own, and find resources to meet personal goals and information to support their education. With more and more of life happening online, NuWave bridges the gap by educating the community in reporting information ethically, thinking critically about the messages we read, see, and hear, and giving us the chance to make informed decisions on choosing information valuable to us. An understanding of new media and how it influences us promotes informed behavior and combats the spread of misinformation and disinformation.

What is the process for considerations in the student intern program?Internships allow students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting while still in school. Our internship program offers carefully planned and monitored work experience with the goal being to gain additional knowledge from on-the-job exposure. The internship program may fall under your school's educational program in which students can earn academic credits from their high school/college educational institutions. Students must first check with their department for college/department qualifications and requirements on academic credit. Internships may be arranged independently from their educational institution in which students would gain work experience only. Please visit our internship page to learn more about student opportunities and requirements.
