  • Who is NuWave Community Media?
    Your Trusted Media and Marketing source for a fast-changing digital world. Media, Technology, and Marketing messages are at the center of our lives every day. New generations from a young age are using technology at home and at school to connect with friends and family, document their lives by creating digital content of their own, and find resources to meet personal goals and information to support their education. With more and more of life happening online, NuWave bridges the gap by educating the community in reporting information ethically, thinking critically about the messages we read, see, and hear, and giving us the chance to make informed decisions on choosing information valuable to us. ​ An understanding of new media and how it influences us promotes informed behavior and combats the spread of misinformation and disinformation.
  • Are you a 501(c)(3) nonprofit?
    YES, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2022. Our tax ID is 88-2571922
  • How can I make a donation to your organization?
    There are several ways you can donate to NuWave to support community media. The most common ways are using any major credit or debit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express), using PayPal, bank transfer, and Amazon. Other ways to contribute, include setting up an automatic monthly gift, check, money order, and/or payroll deduction. To donate click here.
  • What is your donor privacy policy?
    We are committed to protecting the privacy rights of our supporters and will never sell, trade, or rent your nonpublic personal information.
  • How can I get involved in the organization’s mission?
    You can donate, and encourage others to also donate to our programs, volunteer and help with future class workshops, and be a guest on one of NuWave podcasts shows. You can also follow us on social media and share, like, and subscribe to our Podcasts. ​ Leaving reviews on Google, Facebook, Yelp or other review sites can also help increase our credibility, awareness, and appreciation for you for sharing your personal NuWave experience.
  • What is the process for consideration in the student intern program?
    Internships allow students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting while still in school. Our internship program offers carefully planned and monitored work experience with the goal being to gain additional knowledge from on-the-job exposure. The internship program may fall under your school's educational program in which students can earn academic credits from their college. Students must first check with their department for college/department qualifications and requirements on academic credit. Internships may be arranged independently from the curriculum in which students would gain work experience only.   • Are the programs offered virtually?
    Yes! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we quickly adapted our program offerings to meet the needs of in-person and virtual learning. Please contact us today at info@nuwavemedia.org to learn more about our in-person or live stream program options.
  • Do you need volunteers?
    We are always looking for volunteers! There are various opportunities to serve as an individual, small group, or corporation. Please visit our Volunteer page to learn more about opportunities that may align with your passions, skills, and interests.
  • What age groups do you impact?
    Our programs provide support to various age groups in the community. Our student program is aimed at ages 12-24 and we are equipped for students of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need in order to achieve healthy and successful futures.
  • How can I partner with the organization?
    You can contact us, we will set up virtual meetings to explain our solutions and see if it aligns with your business goals. Assuming it does, we will execute a partnership agreement and provide support with training, marketing materials, coaching, implementation, and ongoing support.
